Engagement sessions have started and my first of the season was with Meredith and Ben. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon but we managed to find some breaks in the weather to take some urban shots. I loved that they were open to anything, like when I got all excited about the construction equipment for a back drop! We also ventured into Denali Furniture which has some really unique pieces and brightly colored walls to shoot against. I'm really looking forward to their wedding, only a few weeks away. Enjoy!
Right before Valentine's Day I did a "sexy shoot" for Jessica. I know these are normally called Boudoir pics but that just doesn't seem to fit my style. Until I think of something better to call them we'll stick with sexy! Anyway, she has the most amazing eyes and did a great job during the session. These are the only ones I can show...gotta respect her privacy! Enjoy!
I love hearing stories on how people meet. I'll tell you how I met the super cute and sassy Ti, owner of Tiki Beauty Bar. Last September I photographed Mel and Frost's wedding in Sellwood. While checking out the site with Mel, I asked, "Do you know who is doing your hair and make-up?" She said no. We drove up the street and right in front of us was this brightly painted salon. I said, "you should really go check this place out and see if they do weddings."
Well, they did and still do! They did an amazing job on the bridal party giving them a sexy, vintage look. Below are some pics of Ti and her crew. They will be added to her new website soon. Be sure to check it out by clicking on the title above. Enjoy!
First things first, Happy 2007! I hope everyone had a fun new years. I was lucky enough to get a cold the nite before, still recovering from it. I did have a great time bowling with my friends even if I was out of it and on cold meds!
Before the new year hit, I photographed the lovely Krista Teyema. You may have heard of her in some other blog posts. She is a talented photo and prop stylist in town. When she told me she was ready to start her own business I said, "you'll need some headshots of yourself!". So here they are! To view her website click the title above. Enjoy!
