Karen and Eric tied the knot on Aug. 3rd at the beautiful Garden Vineyards located just outside of downtown Portland. It's really amazing to me how a short drive will transport you to a totally secluded and lovely place. This is one of the reason's I love Oregon so much. Karen and Eric chose the site for it's natural beauty. Everyone working there are truly some of the nicest people I've met working at a ceremony site. Besides nature adding a beautiful backdrop, Karen looked stunning in her all silk gown created by Embellish Designs.

When it was time for the ceremony, I was pleased to see Marky of Custom Ceremonies performing it. As I've mentioned before, she really makes your vows personal and touching. It was so sweet when it was time for Eric to say his vows and he just stood there, looking at Karen and teared up. He had to take a few moments before starting. I was tearing up while shooting it thru my lens! The close knit group of friends and family were all crying as well as they said I do. After the happy tears came a tasty dinner by The Art of Catering who does a fabulous job as well. Karen and Eric provided their guests with a sundae bar complete with fresh fruit and gooey syrups for toppings. Yum. The laid back event continued late into the evening with live music from Eric John Kaiser who describes his music as 100% imported french rock. It was another great touch to the event that showed their love for travel. Congrats! We had a fab time capturing your day.
